New Away Kit for Aston Villa Football Club
unveiled

Following extensive consultation with the Claret and Blue Army of Villa
fans, 32Red and Aston Villa FC unveiled a new-look away kit for the 2006-07 season.

The new-look kit displays the 32Red logo on a white shirt and that can be pre-ordered by
fans from Monday May 8, before it will hit the shops in June.

The re-styled home kit will follow later in the summer. The kit, which features claret
trim and light blue shorts, is the product of a fans’ survey in which over four thousand
fans took part.

The look of the shirt was determined by feedback on everything from collar style to badge
position. Other considerations included the placing of branded chevrons and the inclusion
of an ‘official merchandise’ hologram.

Sales Director, Stuart Ryan thanks the fans for their input. He said to www.avfc.co.uk that the the response they had was
tremendous and has enabled us to put together an away kit that reflects the majority views
of those who took part.

The new away kit got an airing at Aston Villa’s training ground, Bodymoor Heath
earlier this week, with star players Thomas Sorensen, Liam Ridgewell and Gareth Barry all
giving it the thumbs-up.
